Manoj Thulasidas is a CERN scientist who joined the finance industry in Singapore as a senior quantitative professional. He headed the Analytics group at OCBC for Market Risk Management, and took care of the in-house trading platforms at Standard Chartered bank. Internationally recognized as a leading expert in the field of quantitative development, he published a book on the subject published in the Wiley Finance series, and wrote several articles for the Wilmott magazine.

Before his foray into the banking industry, Manoj worked as a lead scientist at A*Star, Singapore and as a physicist at CERN, Geneva, working for the prestigious French government organization CNRS. He has a PhD in physics from Syracuse University, New York and a BTech degree in Electronics Engineering from IIT Madras.

Academically brilliant and an expert in data analysis and quantitative methods, Manoj founded Analytics SME to help small and medium enterprises with the same sophisticated tools that only large players had access to so far.
